Hello, my name is Brianna and I am the photographer and owner of BKurta Photography! I have always had a passion for photography from a young age. In elementary school, I was in a photography club and used to take photos of everything with a point shoot camera. Later, I began taking photos on my iPod/iPhone. In high school, I began using my mom’s DSLR camera and took a digital photography class. My passion for photography grew and I began to take it more seriously and teach myself all the settings as well as other tools such as photoshop. In 2022, I reconnected with my now husband, Jason, who encouraged me to begin offering my photography services publicly. So, I began showcasing my work on Facebook and Instagram. Jason has accompanied and assisted me in many photo sessions and events since. In September 2024, Jason and I got married. Not long after, we finally made my dream of opening my own studio come true! We did end up closing the studio in June of 2026 as we learned we are expecting our first baby! We are so excited for this new chapter! I will still be doing photography and in the future reopening the studio!

Outside of photography, I enjoy reading, creative writing, and spending time with our pets. Jason and I have cats and dogs. We both absolutely adore animals (clearly)! I do currently work full time as a dog groomer at a local salon, so I primarily do photography on my days off.
